workshops

I believe in the power of convening, of getting together and try to unleash the common wisdom. That is why I like to organise workshops during which a group of people explore a certain topic together, to tackle it in different ways. This can be an agreed topic that is important for an organisation/company or a topic that emerges at that moment.

Workshops can be booked for existing teams as well as for a group that gathers for the occasion. In addition, I organise workshops that are specifically aimed at dealing with change.

All workshops start with a Deep Democracy style 'check-in' to let the group 'to be brought together'. Whether for an "situational group" or an existing team, the "check-in" is super important. It the enabler for making the most of the time that will spent together. That is also the reason why all workshops finish with a "check-out" to ensure that all participants will benefit from the common wisdom that we will have been unleashed during the workshop/ceremony.

Workshops ‘in real life’ (instead of online) will benefit from different methods and techniques. Depending on the group, I will combine the ‘more traditional’ form of presentation, discussion and questions/answers with ‘less traditional’. Think of "having a discussion whilst standing, use debate to explore a deep issue or performing ‘a constellation’ without using words. During break-out sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore issues in renewed ways, after which they meet again and share their findings.

Workshops "online" do not have the same real effect as being together, but can also have elements of "the real". I am actually pleasantly surprised how well online workshops/gatherings work.

My workshops vary in length: from 2 hours to half a day, a whole day or a multi-day retreat. We agree on this together.
